The Union of Progressive Zionists
The Union of Progressive Zionists (UPZ) is a student organization sponsored by Meretz USA and Ameinu and the Jewish youth movements Habonim Dror and Hashomer Hatzair. It is a network of student activists organizing for social justice and peace in Israel and Palestine. The UPZ was created by the four organizations in order to provide guidance, education and resources to students who seek to impart a progressive voice into the campus debate on Israel. Get more information on the network by visiting our UPZ page.
The Jewish Academic Network for Israeli-Palestinian Peace
The Jewish Academic Network for Israeli-Palestinian Peace (JANIP) is the joint project of Meretz USA and Ameinu. The network was created to bring together scholars, teachers, and administrators who reject the increasingly polarized debate surrounding the Palestinian–Israeli conflict. Its goal is to bring a voice into the conversation – out of our identification with and commitment to Israel – that supports a negotiated two-state solution, an end to occupation, and Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza and bilaterally agreed-upon settlements in the West Bank. For more information, visit our JANIP webpage.
