On September 21st, 2006, Meretz USA hosted a conversation between Palestinian Lily Habash and Israeli Galia Golan. So close and yet so far, they discussed about their different experiences during this last “summer of war” – separated by borders, checkpoints, physical barriers, and much more. Habash and Golan analyzed the role of women in the
peace camp, and described their different experiences during this last
summer – prior to the war, during the war, and now in its aftermath.
The discussion was moderated by Lilly Rivlin.
