Hanna Barag: A Different Israeli View

On Wednesday, April 18th, Hanna Barag of Machsom Watch spoke during a 12:30 lunch at Beit Shalom. Ms. Barag discussed her observations at West Bank checkpoints, describing their proliferation and impact on the everyday lives of Palestinians. She reported and reflected on Machsom Watch’s activities at the checkpoints and the military courts, as well as the organization’s interactions with the police and General Security Service.
