This will be an opportunity for those of you connected to the pro-Israel, pro-peace community in Los Angeles to hear from and discuss with Daniel the strengthening of democratic values in Israel, including his vision for the future of NIF.

Daniel Sokatch is the new CEO of the New Israel Fund.  He was most recently the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties.  Previously he served as the Founding Director of the Progressive Jewish Alliance, a national organization that grew from 200 to 4,000 members during his nine-year tenure. Daniel has an MA from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, a JD from Boston College Law School, and a BA from Brandeis.
