Help West Bank settlers return to Israel: send a letter to the One Home project

Almost ½ of the 80,000 Israeli settlers living beyond the West Bank separation barrier would like to sell their homes so they can move back to Israel.

There's only one problem: There aren't any buyers.

The Bayit Ehad ("One Home") project, led by Meretz MK Avshalom Vilan, is trying to help: They're working to convince the Israeli government to buy up (but not resell!) the properties of the settlers volunteering for evacuation.

Please let MK Vilan know that you support his efforts to help these settlers and to jumpstart the evacuation process.

But government resistance isn't the only problem: Settlers asking to leave have been receiving threats from extremist elements who think they can stop Israel's necessary, and inevitable, withdrawal from the West Bank.

Send your letter to MK Vilan, and he will pass on your words of encouragement to these settlers, so that we can lift their spirits in the face of intimidation.

Thousands of settlers now realize that, sooner or later, Israel will be leaving practically all the West Bank so that a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine can finally be achieved. And they realize that voluntary evacuation is a sensible win-win plan to set the process in motion.
