Tell Israel’s Housing Minister: The settlements are our business, too!

Please urge Israeli Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim to cancel controversial plans to expand three settlements in disputed territory beyond the Green Line. Add your name to the letter on the right-hand side of this page.

If you think it is a radical step for an American Jewish group to convey this protest directly to an Israeli leader, you are absolutely right!

But the window of opportunity for a two-state solution is closing rapidly. Every new expansion of settlements is a new provocation to the Palestinian people, and makes it harder to keep that window open.

That is not in Israel's interests and it is also not in America's interests. That's why the U.S. government is protesting this new construction. We need to protest, too.

We think it's time to stop keeping our mouths shut when the Israeli government puts roadblocks on the path to an enduring peace. If you agree, please let Mr. Boim know you object to his plans.
