What You Can Do to Help Israel

Summer 2006

As the war continues in Israel and Lebanon, we would like to bring to your attention a number of ways that you can help:
1. Projects that need your support: With the help of our colleagues in Meretz-Israel, and through the efforts of Meretz USA President Lilly Rivlin and Chairman Larry Lerner, we have located three projects which we believe are worthy of our and your support:

• The “Israel Center for the Treatment of Psychotrauma” at Herzog Hospital
• The “Mobile Summer Camp” project of the Brit Olam organization
• The emergency summer camp program of the Wingate Institute for Physical Education and Sport

2) Solidarity Mission: The World Zionist Organization is sponsoring a solidarity mission to Israel, which will be taking place between August 7-9.
